  • Experience w/data management to include; Identifies data source of records, data mapping, data dependencies and data flows for enterprise data needed in support of the project.
  • Experience with assisting with creation of key data artifacts and other deliverables, such as data policies, data standards, data management roles and decision frameworks.
  • Experience with data capacity planning and reporting used for the configuration and management of cloud data services used for data management and analytics.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • The Quality Assurance Manager will play a critical role in the implementation of Workday.
  • As the leader of the testing team, you'll also provide subject matter advice and recommendations on all aspects of quality assurance and quality control to meet project deliverables and timelines.
  • This position will directly influence the configuration and implementation of enterprise projects that will have significant impacts on how all institutions of higher education and businesses that sells goods and services can better serve everyone.
  • This group has been tasked with one of the largest and most transformative information technology projects in state history. The main objective is to modernize and enhance outdated technology systems that agencies have used for decades without much improvement such as finance, procurement, budget, and human capital management functions. This project will help provide live and on-demand data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Select, hire, onboard and supervise employees within the testing team.
  • Manage and deploy testing resources, including testers and tools and request additional resources needed to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Lead development of the overall testing strategy and detailed testing plans and ensure cross-functional collaboration to understand testing needs.
  • Advise, coach and train team members on testing plans, processes, tools and templates in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of all testing activities, deliverables and processes, as outlined in the approved testing strategy and detailed testing plans.
  • Prepare or review detailed reports of test results and defects, ensuring it is distributed to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Recommend or incorporate changes to testing plans and processes based on gaps, lessons learned or other process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive experience in application and/or software testing, such as: developing testing strategies, test cases or test scenarios, and reporting test results.
  • Experience with project management principles and methodologies.
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP).
  • Experience implementing or using automated software testing tools.
  • Experience in assessing compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA).
  • Knowledge and experience with assistive technologies (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover).
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementations.
